The Facts: According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Wayne and New England Patriots have reached agreement on a one-year deal.

Diehards Line: The Patriots have been dealing with injuries to Julian Edelman, Brandon LaFell, Aaron Dobson, Brandon Gibson and most recently Brian Tyms, who sustained a foot injury that could threaten his season. Wayne, who had triceps and knee surgery this offseason, took a physical with the team over the weekend. Nobody should expect Wayne to take a featured role in New England, but he'll certainly get an opportunity to show he's still able to contribute.
