The Facts: According to FoxSports.com's Ross Jones, Bryant will undergo a "minor procedure for [an] elbow infection" that is expected to keep him out for 10 days.
Diehards Line:
Jones also notes that Bryant will likely be unavailable for the Steelers' preseason opener, the Hall of Fame Game, against Minnesota on August 9. As Bleacher Report's Adam Wells suggests, while any kind of procedure is going to be a cause for concern, at least Bryant and the Steelers found this before it turned into a bigger issue. He also isn't a player in need of reps during an early preseason game. Bryant established himself as one of the league's best deep threats as a rookie in 2014. He averaged 21.1 yards per catch and had 549 total receiving yards, despite playing just 10 games.
