The Facts: The torn ACL Bradford suffered last August, his second ACL tear in as many seasons, kept him out of full-team drills during OTAs earlier this summer. When training camp rolls around on Aug. 2, however, that won't be case. According to a person familiar with the situation who requested anonymity, Bradford is "looking great", has been in the rehab room close to every day this summer, and should be ready to go when training camp opens.
Diehards Line:That means Bradford should be out on the field for 11-on-11 drills for the start of training camp. As NJ.com's Elliot Shorr-Parks suggests, whether Bradford can remain healthy throughout training camp will likely dictate if the Eagles have a legitimate quarterback competition. Backup Mark Sanchez has been told he will compete for the starting job, but if Bradford stays healthy, his $13 million salary will likely give him the edge.
