The Facts: Manning has produced a pair of Super Bowl wins during his 11-year career, but the quarterback believes he's just getting started. Manning responded positively this week when asked by a reporter if he's expects to have his best season. "I am," Manning said. "I like the guys we have in the locker room, I like our talent, I like how everybody's approaching this season, I'm looking forward to it."
Diehards Line:
Despite the loss of left tackle Will Beatty to a torn pectoral, Manning still sees a better selection of weapons around him than the Giants have boasted in years. The offense came to life last season with the emergence of wunderkind Odell Beckham, the rookie wideout who regularly beat double coverage down the stretch. With a healthy Victor Cruz and the promising Rueben Randle on hand, the Giants boast one of the NFC's top wideout trios. Shane Vereen, meanwhile, gives Eli one of the league's finer pass-catching options out of the backfield. After Ben McAdoo's quick-pass playbook helped Manning cut his pick count from 27 in 2013 to 14 last season, Eli has set a goal for "single-digit interceptions, and a 4-to-1 ratio" of touchdowns to interceptions in 2015. Whatever the case, Beckham alone appears to be capable of raising Manning's fantasy value single-handedly (pun intended). You could do worse for your team's QB2.
