The Facts: The Cowboys made a change at fullback Monday, releasing Jed Collins and re-signing Tyler Clutts to replace him, according to the club’s website.
Diehards Line:Clutts (6-2, 255) played in every game for Dallas last season, touching the ball just twice, with a pair of one-yard receptions to his credit. However, the second of those catches was a touchdown in the NFC divisional playoff loss to Green Bay. Clutts joins ex-Browns blocking back Ray Agnew as Dallas’ lone fullbacks on the roster. The Cowboys signed the 29-year-old Collins in March. He appeared in all 16 games for Detroit in 2014, rushing eight times for 19 yards and catching five passes for 39 yards and a touchdown.
