The Facts: Doug Baldwin was the Seahawks' leading receiver in 2014, but he isn't the most prolific pass catcher on the roster heading into 2015. That distinction belongs to Graham, who Seattle acquired in a blockbuster trade earlier this offseason to become its new No. 1 option in the passing game. Baldwin's not worried about his spot in the offense now that he's playing behind Graham, though. If anything, he's just excited about what the three-time All-Pro can do for the Seahawks offense. "The beautiful thing about Jimmy is that we can just plug him in and play him into our offense," Baldwin said. "We don't have to necessarily design things around for him because he's such a talented player he can just fit into the role of tight end in our offense as it is."
Diehards Line:Baldwin is clearly a master of the obvious. The 6-7, 265-pound Graham will give quarterback Russell Wilson an elite red-zone target not many defenses have an answer for. In addition, he can spread out defenses to help both Baldwin out of the slot and Marshawn Lynch in the backfield. "Not only is he going to be able to open things up for myself but also for Marshawn as well, and opening more things up for Marshawn is going to be devastating to the defenses we face," Baldwin said. As for how Graham fits in with the rest of the team in the locker room, a question many have wondered about considering the former New Orleans Saint got into a 2013 postseason pregame altercation with linebacker Bruce Irvin and has been called "soft" by defensive end Michael Bennett, Baldwin said it's a non-issue. "He's a phenomenal person off the field," he said. "He's become of the guys in the locker room. He likes to talk trash just like the rest of us, so we've been having fun with him."
