The Facts: McCoy is officially a Buffalo Bill, and at his introductory press conference, he took a bit of a swipe at his former team by opening with the words, "It feels good to be here. It feels good to be appreciated."
Diehards Line:As PFT's Michael David Smith suggests, McCoy didn't come right out and say that he felt that the Eagles and Chip Kelly didn't appreciate him, but it sure came across like that. McCoy said he was surprised to find out the Eagles were trading him but is happy to be in Buffalo. "The people here are so nice," McCoy said. "I can't wait to get to work. I can't wait to see my teammates, work hard and get that goal, and that's to get a championship." McCoy said the Eagles gave him no indication that they were thinking about getting rid of him, and he wishes they would have given him a heads-up. But all's well that ends well. Now, McCoy says, "It's a blessing" to be in Buffalo. There's nothing like a new contract to make a fellow fell welcome.
