The Facts: The Raiders reached a two-year deal worth a little more than $4 million with Helu, ESPN's Adam Caplan and Josina Anderson reported.
Diehards Line:
Helu's agent, Kenny Zuckerman, confirmed to PFT that a deal had been reached with Oakland. The 26-year-old Helu would figure to be Oakland's primary back on passing downs. He caught 42 passes for 477 yards with two touchdowns last season for Washington while adding 216 yards rushing and a TD on 40 carries. The Giants were also interested in Helu, but elected to sign Shane Vereen instead.
