The Facts: According to Houston Chronicle staffer John McClain, the Texans are making run at Cobb and Jeremy Maclin in free agency.
Diehards Line:This news comes in context of the team's need to replace Andre Johnson, who will be released if a trade partner can't be found. Cobb will be among the more coveted free agent wideouts when the signing period begins Tuesday afternoon and it seems like the Packers are willing to let him move on if keeping him means blowing up their salary structure at the position. The Jaguars, Raiders and Chargers have also been mentioned as possible suitors. Maclin has been expected to remain an Eagle, but he's free to entertain offers until he has a deal done. There has been some talk that the Chiefs might be interested in him as well. McClain expects the Texans to target Baltimore's Torrey Smith, also an unrestricted free agent, as well.
