The Facts: The Bills have tendered one-year contracts to two exclusive-rights free agents: Hogan and fellow wide receiver Justin Brown. The club announced the contract offers Thursday.
Diehards Line:
The 26-year-old Hogan emerged as a regular member of the club's WR corps in 2014, catching 41 passes for 426 yards and four touchdowns. While the Bills' offense is obviously a work in progress with the arrival of a new coaching staff, a new running back in LeSean McCoy and a new QB, Matt Cassel, fantasy owners will be rightfully leery of any Buffalo receiver not named Sammy Watkins. That said, those in deeper leagues will notice the four scoring grabs on just 41 total chances for Hogan. ... A sixth-round pick of the Steelers in 2013, Brown caught 12 passes for 94 yards this season for Pittsburgh. The Bills added the 23-year-old Brown on waivers in February.
