The Facts: HC Bill O'Brien told reporters that Foster "has a lot of football left in him" and that team will try to "communicate with him and try to manage his workload" moving forward, per the Houston Chronicle.
Diehards Line:
According to Chronicle staffer John McClain, O'Brien also noted that running back is a position where they could add some depth in order to compliment their top back. But as long as Foster is the starter, he's going to be of great interest to fantasy owners despite some drawbacks. As CBSSports.com's Igor Mello reminded readers, Foster, 28, has played 21 games in the previous two seasons, and has not played 16 games in a season since 2012 due to an assortment of injuries. That said, in 13 games, Foster took 260 carries for 1,246 yards and eight touchdowns. He also caught 38 passes for 327 yards and five scores in 2014. That will be enough to keep him in RB1 territory heading into this season as well.
