The Facts: Moreno was expected to fill a power-tailback role. But he is too injury prone, which is the reason the Dolphins signed him to a one-year contract in 2014. Given this, ESPN.com's James Walker expects the Dolphins to go younger at the position and find a power back who is more durable.
Diehards Line:
Moving on makes sense. Moreno, who will be 28 in July, is scheduled to hit free agency next month. He played well when he was healthy, rushing 31 times for 148 yards (4.8 yards per carry) and a touchdown. But he played in just three games last season due to an elbow injury and a torn ACL. With Lamar Miller proving to be very effective while Moreno was sidelined, adding through the draft makes sense.
