The Facts: Following up on the previous item. ... The Colts believe Bradshaw broke his ankle, a source who spoke to the player told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Diehards Line:
As NFL.com suggests, it's a huge blow for the Colts. It's also bad news for fantasy owners. Bradshaw was by far their best runner and was dangerous as a receiver out of the backfield, especially in the red zone. For the season Bradshaw rushed for 425 yards on 90 totes and two scampering scores, while nabbing 38 receptions for 300 yards and six catching touchdowns. As has been the case since making the trade for the first-round pick, the Colts will need even more from Trent Richardson than he's provided thus far. Dan Herron's snaps are also likely to increase out of the backfield.
