The Facts: Greene left Tuesday's practice with a trainer, per NFL Media's Albert Breer. It's unknown what caused him to exit at this time.
Diehards Line:
Greene, who took the bulk of the first-team reps during Titans practice on Monday, is returning from offseason knee surgery. Nashville Tennessean staffer Jim Wyatt reports that Greene was putting in an exhausting workout on side field. "Can't imagine the Titans would be working him this hard if (he was) really hurt," Wyatt added. Greene did not participate in any of the OTAs or minicamp. Worth noting: HC Ken Whisenhunt told reporters on Monday that Greene could afford to drop five to 10 pounds. Greene is listed at 5-11 and 233 pounds, but apparently is slightly over that weight at present. We'll be following up on today's situation as further details come to light, but it doesn't sound major. The sixth-year pro missed five games last season because of a knee injury and finished with career lows of 77 carries for 295 yards. Rookie Bishop Sankey is a far more popular fantasy football prospect at this point.
