The Facts: Brazill's latest suspension has cost him his job. The Colts announced Friday that they have waived Brazill, one week after the wide receiver was suspended indefinitely for violating the NFL's Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.
Diehards Line:
A sixth-round draft pick of the Colts in 2012, Brazill had 23 receptions for 347 yards and three touchdowns in 25 career regular-season games. He had two long touchdown receptions in Indy's divisional-round playoff loss to the New England Patriots in January. Brazill's postseason performance showed his potential, but off-the-field issues have undermined him. After failing multiple drug tests, Brazill was tagged with a four-game ban to start the 2013 season. He acknowledged at the time that he had to choose between "money or marijuana." Appears he's made his choice.
