The Facts: Following up on the ongoing story. ... Bell hit an important milestone in his recovery from a knee injury, getting clearance to run at full speed two weeks after the conclusion of the team's mandatory mini-camp last month. On Tuesday, Bell said he'll report to training camp a few days before most of his teammates to test out his body. "I'm feeling 100 percent," Bell said. "I'm feeling great."
Diehards Line:Although he's been in attendance, the knee injury sidelined Bell for the early portions of Detroit's offseason program. That hasn't stopped him from staying in shape. He's been working out at Jay Glazer's Unbreakable Performance Center in West Hollywood, Calif., for a second consecutive offseason. "It's been great so far," Bell said. "They're really monitoring, as far as meal plan, cardio, explosiveness and stamina. We're working on a variety of different things, switching it up, doing MMA (training), working out just about every muscle in the body, which is very tiring. ..." Bell, 27, is coming off his most productive professional season. He gained 650 yards on the ground and added another 547 in the passing game, while scoring eight touchdowns. The Lions rewarded him with a three-year, $9.3 million contract. Heading into training camp, Bell's ADP (RB25) makes him a great value play.
