The Facts: Broyles is no stranger to offseason rehab assignments. Suffering ACL injuries in 2011 and 2012, the Detroit Lions wide receiver has yet to experience a full NFL offseason. After tearing his Achilles in 2013, the 26-year-old is again rehabbing. However, this time around, Broyles said he's further along in the process. "I haven't felt this healthy to do anything in the offseason," he said. "I (couldn't do) a lot of pounding. But this offseason I feel like I'm going to be able to get a full offseason."

Diehards Line: As NFL.com suggests, the former second-round pick is entering a pivotal season. He arrived in the NFL as a solid route-runner with good hands and was expected to be Calvin Johnson's sidekick. However, injuries have limited him to just 16 games and 30 catches in two seasons. With the addition of Golden Tate, Broyles is battling to be the third receiver. Broyles reportedly didn't look as explosive during offseason work, but still has the inside track at winning the job in the slot if he rounds into form in training camp. In an offense that could put the ball in the air 600 times this season, that's a spot fantasy football owners will want to keep an eye on.
