The Facts: Following up on a previous item. ... Leshoure missed the final two days of minicamp while attending to a personal matter, according to coach Jim Caldwell. "He did have a personal issue, let's put it that way," Caldwell said after the Lions wrapped up camp Thursday afternoon. "We knew he was gone and what was happening. We were well aware of it."
Diehards Line:
Leshoure was Detroit's leading rusher in 2012, but slid to fourth on the depth chart last year and received just two carries. General manager Martin Mayhew has said he believes Leshoure will have a chance to get more action this year, though, and the club has no intention of trading him. Leshoure will compete with Reggie Bush, Joique Bell and Theo Riddick in Detroit's crowded backfield. Bush and Riddick practiced all three days of camp, while Bell attended the workouts but did not participate.
