The Bengals lost a restricted free agent wide receiver early in free agency when Andrew Hawkins jumped across the state to join the Browns. Now, they'll hold onto another -- one they tendered at the lowest level. Sanzenbacher stood to make $1.4 million under the terms of the team’s tender, but terms of the new deal weren’t announced. Sanzenbacher caught six passes for 61 yards and a touchdown last season. He had 28 catches over parts of two seasons in Chicago. With Hawkins gone, the Bengals will be looking for be looking for help at other slot receiver options in 2014. Sanzenbacher will likely compete for snaps in that role.
