The Facts: In advance of the team returning to the field for another OTA this morning, the Seahawks announce they have waived/injured McCoy and signed tackle Jake Bscherer.

Diehards Line: The team said Friday that McCoy would be out up to nine months after suffering an Achilles tendon injury last week. According to Times staffer Bob Condotta, there’s a good chance McCoy remains with the Seahawks, assuming he is not claimed off waivers.
