Diehards Line:According to SiriusXM NFL Radio's Adam Schein, Garrard told him the departure was related to the troublesome knee that ended his 2012 season before it started. The Dolphins released Garrard before the 2012 season began, and Garrard signed with the Jets this past March. He was slated to be part of the five-man QB competition led by rookie Geno Smith and incumbent starter Mark Sanchez. Now it's down to four men.
