The Facts: The Dolphins selected Miller with the second pick of the fourth round -- the 97th pick overall.
Diehards Line:Although there had been talk of Miller going as high as the first round, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported this morning that health concerns -- specifically issues with Miller's shoulder and knee -- kept teams from biting earlier. As an early-entry junior, Miller also had just one full season as a college starter. But Miami could come out ahead here. As NFL.com's Bucky Brooks notes, Miller gives the Dolphins a home run threat in the backfield. He is explosive with the ball in his hands and displays outstanding burst when running on the perimeter. Miller needs to show better toughness in pass protection, but could develop into a dynamic weapon as a situational playmaker.
