Diehards Line:Rosenfels was claimed off waivers by Minnesota last season following the team’s release of quarterback Donovan McNabb. Rosenfels spent time with Miami and the New York Giants in 2011 but ended his stints with both on injury lists because of a virus. Rosenfels was originally acquired by the Vikings in a 2009 trade with Houston. He was expected to compete for a starting spot before Minnesota signed Brett Favre. Rosenfels is expected to compete in Minnesota with Joe Webb for the backup spot behind Christian Ponder.
