The Facts: The Buffalo Bills have signed Rayner as the replacement for injured kicker Rian Lindell, according to his agent, Paul Sheehy.
Diehards Line:According to Scout.com's Aaron Wilson, Rayner beat out Shayne Graham, Brandon Coutu and Rhys Lloyd for the job with Lindell sidelined with a shoulder injury. Rayner was briefly with the Oakland Raiders this season when Sebastian Janikowski was injured, but didn't have any field goal attempts. He has previously kicked for the Cincinnati Bengals. Rayner has also played for the Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers and the Indianapolis Colts. He has converted 55 of 75 career attempts for a 73.3 percent success rate.
