The Facts: Minnesota waived Berrian after three and a half increasingly disappointing seasons with the Vikings, according to Jason La Canfora of NFL.com.
Diehards Line:Any player cut after the trading deadline is subject to waivers. Berrian was only making $1.9 million on a reduced contract this year, so it wouldn’t be a shock if he was claimed. As PFT reminded readers, something happened on Sunday that caused Berrian to become a last minute inactive against the Packers. It appears he had one last chance with the team, and he blew it. The fact he only has 343 receiving yards since the start of the 2010 season was another factor. The team will go forward with a top three of Michael Jenkins, Percy Harvin and Devin Aromashodu.
