The Facts: An MRI on Peterson's right ankle showed only a sprain, Minnesota Vikings interim coach Leslie Frazier said on Tuesday, but the All-Pro halfback's status remains questionable for Sunday's game against Buffalo. "We don't think it's any more than an ankle sprain," Frazier said. "Now it's just a matter of what he can or can't do."
Diehards Line:Peterson limped off in the second quarter on Sunday. He tried to get the ankle loose on the sideline into the third quarter but never returned to the game. Frazier had been vague about Peterson's status during his Monday media conference, saying the evaluation process was ongoing.
