Diehards Line:Houshmandzadeh, 32, led Seattle in receptions last season, but was released by Seattle on Saturday. As Times staffer Danny O'Neil notes, the veteran wideout's 2010 salary of $7 million is guaranteed, but there is certainly an offset clause, which would mean that Seattle is responsible only for the difference of the $7 million total and whatever he would earn from another team in 2010.
