The Facts: Kelly had his first conversation with HC Mike Shanahan. And from Kelly's perspective, it couldn't have gone better. "One of the first things he said was they're really going to put me in a lot of situations where I'll be isolated. A lot of one-on-one situations where I can take advantage of my size," Kelly said.
Diehards Line:Kelly, who opened the season as the team's starting flanker, fell out of favor with the previous staff because of his route running and Devin Thomas ultimately replaced him as the starter. But as Post staffer Jason Reid noted, the 6-4, 227-pound Kelly is the biggest WR on the roster. Given his size, superior leaping ability and sure hands, he could emerge as a red-zone weapon under the new regime. Per Kelly, Shanahan told him; "We're going to find ways to get you the ball."
