The Facts: The remaking of the Jaguars continued Thursday when Wrighster was told that he's being released after they failed to make a trade for him. The team is expected to announce the move today.
Diehards Line:A fourth-round draft pick in 2003, Wrighster appeared to be on the cusp of a promising career until he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in Buffalo on Nov. 25, 2007 and missed the final five games of that season and he first 11 games of last season. He returned last season and made one start, catching two passes for 35 yards. Wrighster, 28, played 67 games for the Jaguars, including 27 starts. He had 94 catches for 850 yards and nine touchdowns.
