Jimmy Clausen- QB- Bears
If you are the unfortunate owner who had Jay Cutler on your fantasy team heading into the finals this week, then you might want to consider picking up Jimmy Clausen for the last two games of the season. Last year when Cutler was hurt for a good part of the year, Josh McCown found a ton of success under Marc Trestman’s offensive schemes. Clausen will have the same opportunity this Sunday to prove he is a starting quarterback in the NFL. The Bears face the Lions this week, so expect Clausen to have plenty of pass-attempts since Detroit has the best run defense in the league. Pick up Clausen for a high-risk, high-reward play this Sunday.

Donald Brown- RB- Chargers
Now that running back Donald Brown is healthy, he’s been contributing to the Chargers offense in the last couple weeks. His main production has come in the passing attack, racking up nine receptions for 87 yards in the last two games. With Ryan Mathew’s inactive this Sunday, Brown should see plenty of opportunities on third down and in the passing game. Phillip Rivers loves to dump the ball to his running backs when he feels pressure in the pocket. The Chargers face the 49ers Saturday, who have two of the better outside linebackers in the game with Aldon Smith and Ahmad Brooks. Look for Rivers to dump the ball off to Brown this weekend.

Joseph Randle- RB- Cowboys
Cowboys’ running back Joseph Randle could see more playing time this weekend even if Demarco Murray ends up starting against the Colts. Murray is dealing with a hand injury, and Randle looks to be the guy to fill-in if Murray can’t play on Sunday. Even if Murray does suit up, expect Randle to still see 10-15 carries in the game. The Colts don’t have a strong rushing defense, and the Cowboys have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL. If Randle gets touches, expect him see pay-dirt at least once on Sunday. Pick him up for a buck even if Murray plays in week 16.

Heath Miller- TE- Steelers
For some reason I’ve seen tight end Heath Miller available is multiple leagues that have 20 roster spots available. Miller has been a solid tight end option for years so it’s strange to see him available in any league. So far in 2014, Miller has 56 receptions for 652 yards and three scores. If you are in dynasty league, Miller is one of the better back-up tight ends you can find. At age32, he’s till has a lot left in the tank and Ben Roethlisberger still targets Miller consistently. His touchdown receptions seem down in 2014, but actually it improved from his 2013 numbers. If you are in a keeper or dynasty league, consider stashing Miller on your bench. He’s a solid backup at tight end.

Stedman Bailey- WR- Rams
Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey has produced good fantasy weeks in the last four games. Since week 12, Stedman’s has 19 receptions for 320 yards and one score. He has the most targets on the Rams during that time and the most receptions. Stedman might not be a good keeper option for next season if Brian Quick comes back healthy, but he is a viable option for the remainder of the 2014 season if you are a fantasy owner struggling to find starters at the wide out position. Look at Stedman for this week when the Rams face the Giants.
